As an avid gardener, tree enthusiast and public health professional, Mackenzie hand builds functional and sculptural works with an emphasis on organic forms that mimic nature. She began playing with clay while pregnant with her second child who was born on the cusp of the pandemic on the last day of Winter in 2020. Two years and 10 months later, this website was created.
